Viewfield is located just 5 miles from St Andrews, and its world class university.  Set in extensive, garden grounds it is a peaceful and comfortable base for a family engaged at the university.

Solar PV panels provide up to 3kw of free electricity and solar hot water panels help to heat the water.

This warm and welcoming home is situated in the small village of Blebo Craigs.  The village is conveniently located midway between St Andrews and Cupar, being approximately 5 miles from each.  Blebo Craigs has a thriving community life with many university families living here. The village catchment area is for Strathkinness for primary school and Madras (St Andrews) for high school.

Viewfield can accommodate up to 5 people.

The house is provided, fully furnished which would be ideal for a family coming from a distance.

There are 3 bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a double bed.

Another bedroom has 2 single beds

The third bedroom is upstairs and has a single bed. Frankly it is only suitable for those who can negotiate a short but steep stairway.
 

A spacious and comfortable Lounge is enhanced by an equally spacious sun lounge enjoying views over adjacent farmland and hills. Digital Television is provided as is a DVD player and VCR

There are two bathrooms. One with a shower cubicle the other with a bath and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need - including a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, and large fridge/freezer.

The spacious utility room is equipped with clothes washer, dryer and ironing facilities.  There is plenty room here to store bicycles or other sports equipment.
 

Viewfield is available for letting during the academic year.  Price is negotiable and will include broadband internet, and TV license.

Renter will be responsible for oil, electricity, phone, and council tax charges if any.  Gardens are maintained by the owner but can be fully enjoyed by renters.

Accomodation is available from late September 2012 until June 2013 or longer by arrangement.

£650 per month

A 1 month security deposit is required which will be returned less any damage charges beyond fair wear and tear.

Other Information

In keeping with Scottish Law, this is a totally non-smoking house.

Washing, Drying and Ironing facilities are provided.

There is plenty of easy parking space in the driveway.

Our Area

Blebo Craigs is a popular residential village surrounded by pleasant countryside and with many woodland walks on the doorstep.

St Andrews is the main town in North East Fife – a blend of medieval, Victorian and Edwardian streets and notable for being the ‘home of golf’ – the main attraction for many – champion and dreamer alike!  St Andrews has many other attractions and is a town to explore along its streets, wynds and lanes.  In St Andrews you will find the oldest Scottish University, the Castle, Cathedral, sandy beaches, parks and gardens, coffee shops and restaurants – to name but a few!

Cupar, until recently, was the main market town in Fife and has retained its bustling town centre with interesting and varied shops, excellent leisure facilities, railway station and golf course.
